BIG THINGS are coming from Boss Fight

Today I’m going to share something new from the Vitruvian H.A.C.K.S. line from my friends over at Boss Fight Studio. I’ve mentioned before that I’ve been lucky enough to contribute to this new brand working on some of it’s branding and packaging design. When you work on these kind of projects you often get a chance to see things during development, long before they are made public. It’s pretty cool to get to see things before everyone else, but it’s also frustrating not to be able to tell everyone about how cool what you saw was.

For example everyone has been drooling over the fantastic Greek Mythology Series 1 figures that have been shown online, that will be part of BFS’ upcoming Kickstarter campaign. But I’ve seen sculpt drawings a good portion of series 2 and some of series 3. And they are going to blow your mind.

Luckily for me I’ve been given permission to talk about one of the pieces I’ve seen from series 2. Now with each series the H.A.C.K.S. line will move to a new theme, with series 2 bringing in a fantastic Adventure/Fantasy feel. One of the key pieces of this series was a figure with the working title Half Orc (Male) belonging to the faction of Horde Army. He has a really fantastic supernatural viking/barbarian feel to him. He features some really great new design element for his gear and accessories, as well as some new body parts not featured in series 1. And I’m not talking about just a new head, half the figure is new tooling. I’d like to tell you more, but I can’t give away everything.

Imagine the physical embodiment of Ronnie James dio’s discography just┬áleapt off the side of an airbrushed van mural and that’s pretty close to what you get with this guy. Let that stew around in your brain.

So keep you eyes peeled for Boss Fights upcoming Kickstarter and all the amazing things therein, and remember that this is only the first step in an all new world of figure design that truly has No Limits.

As always feel free to leave a comment below/make wild speculations about the wonders that await as part of the H.A.C.K.S. line from Boss Fight Studio.
